Terms of service
Version of September 23, 2026. Draft prepared for review by counsel; the terms in force are the ones shown on this page on the date of your order.
1. What the service is
Terravo review ("the service") reads the records a law firm uploads and returns a written summary of what those records contain: a chronology of dated events, each with the page it came from; a record summary organized by encounter and by source; tables of medications, imaging, conditions, work status, and charges; and, when the case-screening product is chosen, a screening memo, a list of gaps in the production, and a simulated argument of the issues. Every quotation in the output is checked by software against the page it cites; quotations that cannot be found are marked for review.
2. What the service is not
The service does not practice law or medicine and gives no legal or medical advice. It does not decide whether a case should be taken, what it is worth, what to request, or what to argue. Everything it produces is prepared at the direction of an attorney for that attorney's own judgment. The attorney who uses the output is responsible for every decision made with it, under the rules governing nonlawyer assistance in the attorney's jurisdiction. Software can misread a page or miss one; the output is meant to be confirmed by a person at the firm before it is relied on, and the service requires that confirmation before a report is marked released.
3. Accounts and use
Accounts are for law firms, their staff, and businesses that support attorneys. Each person uses a named login; logins are not shared. You may upload only records you are entitled to hold and process. Records containing protected health information may be uploaded: the service holds signed Business Associate Agreements with each vendor that touches uploaded content (Amazon Web Services and Anthropic). Firms that need the service to sign their own Business Associate Agreement can request it at review@terravo.law.
4. Price and payment
The price of each order is shown before you start it, based on the number of pages in the files you upload (or a flat per-case price where stated). Payment is by card through Stripe at the time of the order, or by monthly invoice for firms with a written arrangement. Prices may change for future orders; the price shown when you start an order is the price of that order.
5. Your files and our custody
Uploaded files, the pages rendered from them, and everything produced from them are stored encrypted in the service's own cloud account in the United States. They are visible only to users of your firm and, on your request for support, to Terravo staff, with every access logged. You can delete any case at any time from its page; deletion removes files, database rows, and index data, and backups age out within thirty days. Retention while a case is active defaults to one year after completion and can be set per firm. The privacy and data handling page describes this in detail.
6. Availability and changes
The service is offered as it is. Processing times shown are estimates. We may change, add, or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service we will give firms thirty days to download their outputs.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Terravo's total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Terravo is not liable for decisions made using the output, for consequential or indirect losses, or for content in the records themselves.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your cases. We may suspend an account used in breach of these terms, after notice where practicable, and will preserve the firm's outputs for download for thirty days.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Questions go to review@terravo.law.
